The Hyperion mousepad is designed for those who want a smooth controlled glide, medium speed, and a high quality Japanese made surface. Named after one of Saturn’s moons, you will find similarities between the 2 surfaces. Static friction is medium while the dynamic friction provides a bit of a quicker approach while still being able to stop when you need to. The surface itself is mostly smooth but has a light texture. It features an authentic SlimFlex (formerly known as PORON) base and stitched edges.
HYPERION – XSOFT
The Hyperion mousepad offers a smooth, medium-speed glide with balanced friction. Its lightly textured, high quality Japanese surface ensures precise control. Inspired by Saturn’s moon Hyperion. The XSOFT type offers a slower glide speed with maximum stopping power and superior control compared to the SOFT version.

The PORON (now known as SlimFlex) base material is a key upgrade in the Pro Series, offering enhanced customization for users. It allows you to choose between a softer feel, providing a tailored experience based on your preference. This advanced base material improves overall durability and comfort, offering a smoother glide while maintaining control. SlimFlex is a crucial element in optimizing the mousepad’s performance, ensuring a high-quality, responsive feel during use.

The Hyperion XSOFT mousepad offers a much slower glide, designed for users who prioritize control above all else. This slower surface provides maximum stopping power, allowing for precise adjustments and reliable accuracy, especially in high-pressure or precision-demanding scenarios.
